Mixture characterisation tests for level 4 mix design (workability, compactability with a gyratory shear compactor, water resistance, rutting, modulus, fatigue resistance) and restrained shrinkage.

Research facilities with a device for analysing the fumes from bitumen and / or bituminous mixes with complementary thermomechanical tests. The tests can be supplemented by cameras that can operate in the visible and infrared domains.

An aging test can also be performed in a temperature-controlled UV chamber.

 A climatic chamber with controlled temperatures (including for freeze/thaw testing) and controlled relative humidity.

A vertical gamma densitometer for measuring density and checking the homogeneity of specimens. A device for extracting the binder from bituminous mixes.
